What you'll need to succeedWe're looking for a Senior Back End Engineer, 5+ years Python supported by FastAPI and MongoDB.A solid grounding in modern system architecture and design patterns. Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous workflows and event driven design. Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. Experience building and consuming APIs at scale and familiarity with CI/CD, containerisation and DevOps aligned workflows.Although the role is primarily backend, there may be opportunities to contribute to light touch front end work (e.g. React) when APIs or integration points require it. You will work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide oversight, guidance and technical support. You will identify and manage technical risks throughout the project, providing clear updates and recommendations to senior leaders.
