Investigate and comment on referred permit applications, providing a technical response to NRW permitting centre, authorities, developers, NRM teams in line with current NRW policy, to influence and promote sustainable permitting and development. Respond to internal requests for hydrological assessments for flood risk operational and consenting purposes (includingflood flow audits for Flood Consequences Assessments & Flood Defence Consents, flood estimates for Flood Risk Mapping, hydrological impact assessments for abstraction and impoundment licensing and Town & Country Planning. Co-ordinate and develop environmental improvements plans, in accordance with national legislation and policies to ensure that NRW is compliant. Support the technical audit of Water Co. Plans and Drought plans by analysing and commenting on hydrological and hydraulic implications. Contribute to the successful development and implementation of emergency plans including drought and flood incident management. Quality assure water resource data and information, and the associated storage and retrieval systems. Ensure that information is up to date and fit for purpose. Support management of data on internal and "national" archives. Ensure all Key Performance Indicator targets are reached across all areas of sales and customer service including those around lead management/CRM (dynamics database). Provide the primary communication channel between site staff, sales and marketing department, other internal departments and external agencies. Be aware of and provide 'first port of call' expertise for all customer purchasing activities from Sales Executives. Provide knowledge/expertise to react to market conditions such as lenders' criteria, local house price variations, stock plots, PX properties, and advise on forecasting and site build sequence Manage external media, presentation, legal and lending agencies against the business unit plan, business unit targets and Taylor Wimpey standards. Support SMD in settling release prices through regular market research. Ensure reaction to customer enquiries and purchasing queries are in line with the business unit plan and site requirements Ensure the health & safety of customers, site staff and other parties is a priority and complies with company policy Follow and adhere to company procedures and standards of performance as laid down by the business unit. Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls, with strong command-line experience. Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, Subnetting, Spanning Tree) and IPv6/dual-stack networking. Experience with resolving complex network issues; familiar with VoIP, enterprise WiFi, and fiber optic technologies. Experience with Windows Server and Unix/Linux system administration.
