Penarth Ministry Area is holding another Plant & Cake sale on Saturday 3 May 10am-12noon at St Augustine's Church, Church Place South, Penarth. The last one in April was a great success, raising over £960 for general funds.

There will be plenty of bedding plants, sweet peas and annuals for pots and tubs, and perennials, vegetable seedlings including tomatoes courgettes and beans.

There is also coffee and tea on offer and lots of lovely home-made cakes. Everyone is welcome to this free event – sit outside and enjoy the great view or wander round the churchyard and see the display of bluebells. If anyone would like to donate plants or cakes for the sale, please bring them 9-10am to the church, ideally labelled.
