Take individual action to focus attention on 'daft' decision'

In response to a recent Penarth Nub News story regarding litter bin removal, we have received the following letter:-
Please advise Mr Weston to contact the Vale Council and/or his local councillor to obtain free of charge white Vale Council bin liners to collect up litter from 'state owned' land, i.e. not private.
I have been litter picking since June 2020 in Lavernock and Sully parishes and through the aid of two area councillors (Bob Penrose and now Kevin Mahoney) I receive regular deliveries of bin liners to reduce local littering.
I also email reports of my litter picks and where I have left tied up white bin liners (sometime red Keep Wales Tidy bin liners) - mostly grass verges/pavements of main highways rather than more remote country lanes.
I also send off reports of large fly tipping episodes and/or traceable items to council enforcement and sometimes South Wales Police
This should get overly officious council enforcement officers off his back and the regular quantities of litter he picks up will highlight how daft a large number of bin removals have proven to be in the county.
