Cardiff University Chamber Choir concert
St Augustine's Church, Penarth
Music
Tuesday 25th March

Cardiff University Chamber Choir recently recorded a CD in St Augustine's church, Penarth and they will be "launching" it at this concert.
The CD features sacred music from 18th century Rome, including the world premiere recording of music by Maria Rosa Coccia.
In addition to music from the CD the choir will be acknowledging the 500th anniversary of the Italian Renaissance composer Giovanni Palestrina.
The choir is directed by award winning conductor Peter Leech.
Given the recent and very real threat of closure to the School of Music this is an excellent opportunity for us to show our support for this historically and culturally important institution.
Admission £10 (Pay at the door). Students and children free.
