In this role, through understanding the business strategy, you will be focussed on applying knowledge of the risk management framework in order to support the business in maintaining robust processes and controls that help ensure good customer outcomes.Have you got energy to drive how we think about our control environment and how to optimise it in our Controls Office? - Manage relationships with risk and control owner teams and acts as their control management SME.
- Use technical knowledge to analyse, investigate and evaluate the control environment, making recommendations for improvements.
- Lead delivery of high-quality actionable insight to help drive informed decisions to address any issues identified.
- Support Consumer Lending in management of risk and control in RCSA which provides quality data that can inform business decisions.
- Be inquisitive of data and tooling innovation available and help us deliver our ambition of leading excellence in data literacy.
- Leadership: Ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving strategic goals.
- Communication: Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Critical Thinking: Capability to think ahead and plan for future control needs and improvements.
- Problem-Solving: Interest in identifying issues and developing effective solutions with a strong desire to test and learn challenging us to do things differently.
- An agile and digital approach: Able to identify future possibilities and turn into high impact strategies. Not afraid to experiment.
- Collaboration: Working effectively with other areas and stakeholders.
- Good awareness of the lending products, policies that apply and systems which are used.
- Experience using the RCSA system and working with risk and control owner teams.
