Our final concert in the Music at Lunchtime series for 2024 takes place this Monday 16^thDecember and is an organ recital given by John Cheer. 

John is organist here at All Saints, co-ordinates music at Beulah United Reformed Church in Rhiwbina and enjoys a wide range of other musical activities. Since 2011 he has worked as a Music Therapist in the Bristol Community Learning Disabilities team.

During the month of December we are surrounded by seasonal music – some of it all too familiar, especially to organists! Nevertheless, there is much to enjoy in music written for Advent and Christmas and John's programme features music by composers including Bach, Buxtehude, Liszt and Petr Eben – most of which you're not all that likely to hear piped though loudspeakers while you're doing your Christmas shopping.

Do join us if you're able and come and hear our lovely organ – which is not often used for recitals. As always, doors open at 12.30pm, when tea and coffee will be available on the balcony, and there's not charge for admission.
