Do you care about trees?

Penarth Civic Society's Tree Forum has been campaigning for several years to protect and enhance the town's tree canopy.

This is an annual update on what has been achieved. There has been a lot!.

The meeting on Thursday, 20 March will feature members of the Forum talking about their campaign, the tree volunteers who have been working tirelessly to water and care for the new trees that have been planted and to find out about the new long awaited Vale of Glamorgan Tree Strategy.

There will also be an opportunity to put your questions to our panel of experts, which will include officers from the Council.

Admission is free for members, non members £3.00 with a reduction for those under 26 years, £2.00.

Venue St. Augustine's Church Hall, Albert Road, Penarth.

6.30 for 7.00PM start.
