Little Concerts - 'The Sing Thing' – Explore the amazing human voice!
"I've not come across any concert as innovative and creative for this age group".
The interaction is just amazing. Short pieces and they move onto different activities involving things they can play with. It's really, really good." – a parent.
'THE SING THING' Little Concert explores the amazing possibilities of the human voice. Always designed around the learning styles of our youngest audience members, Little Concerts are perfect for both tiny tots and children up to 10 years.
'THE SING THING' features brilliant young professional soprano, alto, tenor and bass singers in a joyful hour of exciting music from Mozart to new takes on nursery rhymes with percussion. Experience the musical building blocks of high and low, slow and fast, musical texture and colours through movement and touch. Expertly devised so that children can feel in their playful bodies what they are hearing. Interactive craft objects and instruments included for children's use at the event.
This event is presented as part of the RWCMD-in-Residence programme, a series of creative projects from Royal Welsh College musicians presented in partnership with Penarth Pavilion.
Ideal for families with children from 0 – 10 years.
