1. Two Penarth residents named in Queen's Jubilee Birthday Honours List. Deborah Elizabeth Rogers, deputy chief crown prosecutor at the Crown Prosecution Service, has been awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for services to Law and Order. Find out more here.  

2. Penarth Allstars netball team wins national championship. The Under 16s Penarth Allstars netball team won a national championship title on May 29 which was held at the Cardiff City House of Sport. Read more here

3. Teens in balaclavas arrested in Penarth on suspicion of robbery and possessing offensive weapon. A group of teenagers were arrested in the Cogan area of Penarth on Sunday, May 29 on suspicion of robbery and possessing an offensive weapon. Read more here

4. NatWest Penarth to close in September. NatWest has confirmed that its Penarth branch on Plymouth Road will close its doors in September. Read more here
