THE Air Ambulance landed on Penarth beach on Saturday afternoon.

It was captured on camera by Val Bodden who said: "We were enjoying the Festival from Sid's Restaurant when we heard the air ambulance flying toward the seafront.

"We thought it was there as part of the Festival, giving festivalgoers the opportunity to meet the helicopter crew.

"So shocked to realise it was a real emergency."
