In 1977, PK Mahanandia, a 23-year-old street artist from Delhi, set off on an extraordinary 6,000-mile journey from India to Sweden, armed with little more than a second-hand bicycle, a handful of paintbrushes and an unwavering belief in love.

Born into one of India's most marginalised communities, PK had spent much of his life facing poverty, prejudice and discrimination. But everything changed when he met Lotta, a young Swedish traveller visiting India. Despite their vastly different backgrounds, the two fell deeply in love. When Lotta returned home, PK made a remarkable decision: he would cycle across continents to be reunited with her.

What follows is an incredible true-life adventure filled with determination, unexpected kindness, extraordinary encounters and the courage to follow your heart against seemingly impossible odds.

Directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Orlando von Einsiedel (The White Helmets, Virunga) and executive-produced by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, this beautifully told documentary combines personal memories, archive footage and dramatic reconstructions to bring an unforgettable love story to life.
