Very interesting 50+ Strategy Forum in the excellent Murchfield community Centre.

The idea was to offer an opportunity for residents to comment on services in the community.

There were a range of organisations present to offer advice. This included Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern, Age Cymru, the Memory clinic based in LLandough, and the University of the third age. The Parkinson's Society, The Vale Learning centre and Dinas Powys Library were also present.

Entertainment was provided by Tootles Recorder Group and tasty cake was supplied by Sarahs Cakes and jams. Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern said that the charity offers a range of services to the community. Further information call 02920 513700 or email [email protected]
