Job Title: SEO Lead

Location: Cardiff (On-site, Monday to Friday)

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Role Overview:

As the SEO Lead, you will steer our SEO and content team towards achieving ambitious growth targets. You'll develop and execute innovative strategies to enhance online presence, improve rankings, and drive revenue growth. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of business while managing a team of SEO and Digital PR executives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies.
• Lead link-building campaigns and implement best practices.
• Conduct site audits and technical SEO analysis.
• Manage a team of 8, with plans to grow to 16, focusing on recruitment, monthly catchups, and quarterly reviews.
• Collaborate with content specialists to align SEO strategies with overall business goals.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis.

Must-Haves:

• In-depth knowledge of SEO history and theory.
• Proven experience in managing successful link-building campaigns.
• Demonstrable success in achieving high Google rankings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and a people-oriented approach.
• Passion for data analysis and revenue-focused strategies.
• At least 1 year of management experience in an SEO role.

Desirable Experience:

Candidates from agency or in-house backgrounds are welcome. Previous experience with notable companies such as Admiral, GoCompare, or Confusedcom would be advantageous.
