This role focuses on transforming how employees approach and behave towards cyber security, making a significant impact across the entire organisation.I am looking for a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for promoting security awareness.
You will be required to:
- Deliver and Support Security Culture Initiatives: Work closely with the Security Culture Lead to implement a comprehensive culture and awareness plan, influencing the way employees think about and act on cyber security.
- Security Awareness Training: Help develop and deliver training and engagement content to all employees, ensuring it resonates with various teams from executive management to technical staff and contact centres.
- Cyber Champions Programme: Assist in managing and expanding the cyber champions programme to promote security practices throughout the organisation.
- Measure Success: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the security awareness and culture programme.
- Tailored Engagement: Identify high-risk user groups and develop targeted security awareness training based on their roles and requirements.
Key Accountabilities:
- Plan and support the delivery of security awareness campaigns, including phishing exercises.
- Create and update engaging cyber security content in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
- Work to embed positive security behaviours throughout the organisation, promoting a proactive approach to cyber security.
To be successful, you'll need the following skills and experience:Essential:Experience delivering comms and training initiatives within a large organisation.Polished presentation skills, comfortable with engaging large, diverse audiences.Enthusiastic about fostering positive security behaviours across all levels of the business.Strong, creative communication skills with experience using various media and channels.Desirable:
- Relevant qualifications in Training, Communications, or Marketing.
- SANS Security Awareness Professional Credential.
- Knowledge of the SANS Cyber Security Awareness Maturity Model, NIST, or NCSC guidelines.
- Experience in managing a champions community.
