DT Teacher Job in Cardiff.

Your new schoolI am currently working with a school in Cardiff to recruit for a Design and Technology teacher specialising in product design. The school encourages the pupils to take a proactive and creative approach to learning, allowing them to develop. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling.Your new roleStarting ASAP, you will be a full-time teacher specialising in Product Design and currently hold or be willing to renew a safety certification for the workshop such as DATA.You will have responsibilities such as:

  • Teach KS3 - KS4
  • Nurture a range of learning abilities
  • Staff meetings
  • Parent's evenings,
  • Pastoral responsibilities,
  • Planning and preparation of lessons marking and assessment
  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified teaching Status or PCET with secondary school experience
  • Experience of teaching Engineering and Product Design
  • Proven track record of helping students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council
  • Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one
