The Credit and Collections team within this business is driven, friendly and supportive, and this role would be suitable for someone who is looking to study CICM.Your New RoleAs a Senior Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's credit control function. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the credit control team and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures.
  • Conducting credit checks on new customers and monitoring existing customer accounts.
  • Managing and resolving any issues related to overdue accounts.
  • Preparing regular reports on credit control performance and presenting them to senior management.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
    • What You Will NeedTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of credit control processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in using financial software such as SAP, Sage 50 and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
