We had a wonderful response to our Father's Day competition and hope all dads enjoyed their special day.

Among many stories that touched our hearts was this story from Sarah Greenwood about her dad, Edward Kelly, who lives in North Manchester and is a big Manchester City fan.

The pair recently travelled to Istanbul to see their favourite team in the European Champions League final against Inter Milan.

"My dad has multiple sclerosis, and now relies heavily on a wheelchair," said Sarah.

"However, we share our love of Manchester City and frequently attend football matches together.

"We went to Istanbul for the Champions League final. He doesn't let his MS stop him doing what he wants to do - although at times he has to limit things!".

"He has terrible dad jokes too - think it must be an unwritten rule for parents," she joked.

Well done Sarah and we hope you and your dad enjoy the £50 Father's Day treat from the Co-op.
