Willmore's have been providing deliveries and sweet treats to Llandough Hospital and to many other of Penarth's key workers throughout the duration of the coronavirus pandemic but today marked their final visit to the wards.

Penarthians came together to raise thousands for the Willmore's team which allowed them to continue supplying the local NHS staff and care homes during this challenging time.

They said: ''It's our final delivery to Llandough hospital today thanks to Ray Thomas and Son Domestic Appliance Repairs, a small family-run business in Penarth.

''We visited Ruth and her colleagues of West 5 today. The ward has recently lost a nurse to COVID-19. The sacrifice our frontline works are prepared to make every time they go to work shows what true heroes they are.

''We will be clapping extra hard tonight for you all and your loved ones.

''Take care everyone and stay safe.''

Now, the popular cafe will return to supplying the town with its tasty takeaways and will remain at the heart of the Penarth community.

From Penarth Nub News, thank you to Willmore's for their fantastic efforts over the past few months.

Make sure you keep an eye out on their social media for all of the information on their services.
