Venues to Watch the Six Nations Kick-Off in Penarth

Wales kick-off against Italy in the first game of the six nations tomorrow, so, we have compiled a list of all the places in Penarth that you can go and watch the game.

The match starts at 2:15 pm, Saturday 1st of February, and there are a wealth of venues gearing up to host rugby fans across the town.

Here they are below:

• The Railway Pub - The popular local has recently been refitted with HD screens and will be followed by a night of entertainment with live music from Bro's & Co at 8 pm. Dog-Friendly.

• The Windsor - An additional TV has been installed for the months of Rugby and the Windsor has also arranged for a live performer to hit the stage after Wales' performance. Tom Sutch will be taking to the stage at 9 pm. Dog-Friendly on the bar side.

• The Masonic Hall will also be showing the game for free on their large screen. Curry will also available on the day from their chef Tim for £7. The Bar opens at 12.30. Watch both six-nation games.

• The Paget Rooms are opening their doors for the first time to rugby fans. Doors Open from 13:00 with hot food available and festival style beer hall serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. This event is free.

• Crafty Devil will be screening the sporting event alongside their craft ales and delicious food. Dog-Friendly.

  • The Golden Lion - The lion will be showing the game on their multiple TV sets.

• The Albion will be showing the game on their drop-down screen followed by live music by The Shameless - a rock band based in the Vale of Glamorgan who play a variety of covers including Green Day, U2, Thin Lizzy, The Stereophonics, Primal Scream, Elvis Costello and many more.

• The Merrier Harrier is showing the game on the other end of town for those wanting to be further away from the centre.
