The Cardiff Life Awards have released their finalist list and across twenty categories six Penarth based businesses have been listed for the finals.

The six businesses have been listed below:

• Penarth Physiotherapy Practice - Health and Wellbeing Category

• Keyif - Restaraunt Category

• James Sommerin - Restaraunt Category

• Snowcat Cinema - Arts Category

Penarth Town Council were also recognised as finalists as reported earlier by Nub News.

The businesses reacted online to their achievements.

Crepe Escape said: ''Chuffed is an understatement. We are so proud to be finalists again in the Cardiff Life Awards. So excited. It really means a lot to us all.''

Snowcat Cinema said: ''So this is exciting news! We're over the moon to have been named as finalists in the Arts category of this year's Cardiff Life Awards! Thank you Cardiff Life.''

Penarth Physiotherapy Practice & Pilates Studio said: ''[We] have been shortlisted as a Finalist in the Health & Wellbeing Category of 2020. We are absolutely delighted. Well done to all the other companies who have too.''

Holm House stated: ''Honoured to be shortlisted in the Best Restaurant category.''

Backed by a massive marketing campaign, the Cardiff Life Awards event has sold out every year.

Businesses can nominate themselves in one or more of the 22 categories – the winners are chosen by a panel of independent and impartial judges.

The Awards have been running at the prestigious City Hall for many years.
