Does your childcare work for you?

This is the question the Vale of Glamorgan Council and Welsh Government are asking parents and carers.

They want to hear your thoughts about childcare in your local area.

"We want to understand more about your childcare needs, be it for young children or older children needing before and after school or holiday care," said a spokesperson for the Vale Council.

"We want to hear about your experience of finding suitable childcare as this will help us plan for the future."

The local authority is asking parents and carers to complete a survey about how childcare could be improved.

Questions include asking what type of childcare you use, for how much time and how much you pay.

Then it also asks how satisfied you are with your childcare arrangements, and what could be done to improve them.

The survey closes on Sunday 24 October.
