RNLI Wales warns of large swell, strong winds and strong spring tides in Penarth.

This comes as Storm Ellen rips through South Wales, causing 70mph winds in some parts.

To stay safe, RNLI advise the following:

- Choose a lifeguarded beach (manned between 10AM and 6AM)

- Check tide times

- Call 999 if you see anyone in trouble

Stay safe out there.
