PREPARATIONS are underway for Remembrance Sunday, 9 November and Armistice Day on 11 November by Dinas Powys Community Council.
The Community Council is currently erecting poppies along major roads.
The legal process to close roads around the Twyn on Sunday have been agreed.
The wreaths are now available for collection by organisations from the Parish Hall, Britway Road. The suggested donation, can be made by BACS, cash, or cheque.
Councillor Jon Cowpe chair of the council will lay the wreath on behalf of the community. All members of the public are invited to support both events.
