Florist 64 is opening their brand new store on Cornerswell Road today, from 10 am, and as a launch offer, £1 from every transaction will be donated to Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth.

A local husband and husband duo, Julian and Craig, have opened up shop as their venture needed expanding from their studio-based business on Station Road.

Along with bouquets, they will also specialise in weddings, funerals, corporate arrangements and an onsite flower school.

Julian has been a Florist for 32 years and has worked all over South Wales.

His husband Craig is the man behind the marketing, with prior experience in Retail and Branding before joining Florist 64 full time.

They said: ''Our website is designed and managed in-house to

align the customer experience to our brand.

''We design the products, style, photography and use our own words on all branding, website and social media.

''We remain flexible, fluid and continually realign where necessary.

''At Florist64 we don't use stock images, we keep true to our brand and strongly believe that what our customers request we make happen with exacting standards.

''We love what we do.''

The team have also recently launched their own line of 100% Soy Candles in line with their new store opening.

They said: ''The candles are hand poured by us in Penarth, using only the finest ingredients, and incorporating the sights, fragrance and panache from in and around Penarth (our Penarth Pier Candle is inspired by the fresh spray of Sea Salt).

''We continue to strive to support local talents, more recently collaborating with a surface pattern artist to develop

our own range of Floral Greetings Cards.''
