Businesses across Penarth have been adapting to the changes brought upon them by the coronavirus and Plassey Fish Bar has now launched a delivery service via Uber Eats as well as reopening for a socially distanced takeaway.

This will come as welcome news to the local town as Plassey has always been a firm favourite within the Penarth community.

Their menu is available, in full, including their recent Gluten-Free addition with a wide range of classic fish and chips dishes for those with a dietary requirement.

You can view what they have on offer for delivery here.

Their advertised opening hours are:

• Sunday - 16:00 - 21:30

• Monday to Saturday - 11:30 - 21:30

They also reopened for takeaway services yesterday but will be adhering to strict social distancing rules.

They said: ''We are pleased to announce that we are re-opening Wednesday 22nd April.

''As you are all aware of the current COVID-19 crisis, and the social distancing rules in place, we will only allow 2 customers in at a time, however, we aim to provide a quick service and welcome advance orders by phone and will also deliver your orders placed in the shop to your cars when ready.

''We look forward to serving you all again and wish you all the best during this difficult time.''
