Penarth Repair Cafe to Pause Over Coronavirus

The Penarth Repair Cafe will pause its activities due to the UK moving into the containment phase of the coronavirus.

In a public statement, they said: ''The Penarth Repair Café volunteers are concerned about containment of the Covid 19 virus and the health of both our visitors and volunteers.

''It is with regret, that we write to say that the March 22nd Repair Café is now cancelled.

''We will press pause on future events until we are over this unprecedented international crisis.

''Take care of yourselves and your loved ones.

''Best wishes, Penarth Repair Cafe.''

Over 60s are considered to be one of the most vulnerable groups of people regarding the coronavirus and lots of elderly members of the community attend the repair cafe.
