The Cefn Mably pub in Penarth is now set to open on Monday, July 11 after a slight delay following its refurbishment.

Last week, Penarth Nub News reported that the pub would be ready to reopen this week, although an exact date had not been disclosed.

But today (July 4) we have been informed that Cefn Mably on Lavernock Road will be ready to reopen next Monday from midday.

A darts board, jukebox and a new pool table are just some of the additions to the pub, as well as six new LCD televisions showing BT Sport and Sky Sports.

A sage green colour scheme and exposed woodwork will revitalise the space and there are also plans to introduce a food menu, revamp the B&B rooms and redesign the garden area.
