A free networking event for Penarth business owners will aim to bring the community together to make connections and share ideas.

To be held at Ground Bakery on Friday, May 20, the social event has been organised by Speakeasy Club and Penarth View Magazine and will be the first in a series of business networking events in Penarth.

John Davies, 33, a graphic designer and owner of Penarth View Magazine, told Penarth Nub News: "Penarth businesses have welcomed us into their arms. We'd like to bring the local business community together once again, with the first in a series of business socials over the summer.

"Come along, bring a friend, and let's get together to meet, chat, and share ideas."

The event will start at 17:00 and aims to finish at 18:30.

Ground Bakery on Stanwell Road opened in April and is co-owned by Tom Simmons, a former contestant on BBC's MasterChef: The Professionals in 2011.
