Penarth Yacht Club will be closing its doors temporarily at the end of the night due to the updated information from the UK government regarding coronavirus.

They said: ''It is with regret that following guidance from UK government, Penarth Yacht Club will temporarily close from midnight tonight, Tuesday 17th March 2020.

''This is in line with the communications regarding social distancing via the UK Government.

''This advice is likely to be in place for some weeks and will, therefore, remain in place until otherwise informed.

''Members will be kept up to date with any further information.
