Tickets are still available for the opening night of The Full Monty at The Paget Rooms tomorrow (May 18).

The production is from the Penarth Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS) and is based on a classic film of the same name and was originally meant to run before the COVID-19 pandemic.

PODS President, Mary Gardner plays Jeanette Burmeister, a feisty and eccentric veteran musician who offers to accompany the boys on the piano as they rehearse their big number. She said: "I'm delighted to be playing the part of Jeanette, the pianist who plays for the boys as they rehearse their dance for the Full Monty strip - aren't I the lucky one!

Also, as PODS President and with fifty years of shows under my belt, I can say with all honesty that The Full Monty is a show not to be missed."

Peter Knowles, publicity officer at PODS, wrote about the show for Penarth Nub News in April. Read Peter's article here.

The Full Monty starts tomorrow (May 18) to Saturday, May 21 and all productions start at 19:30.
