A bereavement support group providing a safe space to talk about grief is holding its first session next week in the Marie Curie Hospice, Cardiff and the Vale.
Marie Curie, with support from Diverse Cymru, is inviting adults who have experienced the death of a loved one from terminal illness to attend the Bridgeman Road premises on September 9.
Run by a qualified counsellor, the sessions are free and take place at 10.30am, running for two hours. The sessions will provide an opportunity to tell your own story and listen to others' experiences to gain comfort and reassurance.
"Grief can make us feel lonely and sad. It can be a relief to come to a group and find that you are not alone in this," said bereavement counsellor Sharon Jenkins.
To find out more and register your interest in attending, please contact the Marie Curie hospice on 029 2042 6000 or email [email protected] . If you would prefer one to one support, contact the Marie Curie Support Line on 0800 090 2309.
