The Friends of Penarth Library will be holding a cake and book sale at the venue on Saturday.

It will take place between 10am and 1pm, and all proceeds will go to support the library.

A long-awaited concert takes place at the Pier on Saturday.

Yorkshire-born Clare Teal is one of the UK's most celebrated and much-loved singers. Clare performs across the UK and internationally with her pianist Jason, and has sung with artists including Sir Van Morrison, Jamie Cullum, Katie Melua and Liza Minnelli. She guests with the BBC Concert Orchestra on Friday Night is Music Night and has produced and presented three concerts for the Proms Season at the Royal Albert Hall.

Peter the Coffee Man is back

And Peter the Coffee Man will be back in Alexandra Park on Sunday - it's a great opportunity to step out, enjoy the park and make a friend.
