Friday: Penarth Aviation Society Presents Unmanned Aircraft Vehicles

Ranging from small hobby quadcopters weighing 250g tp 5 ton remotely piloted military aircraft, drones, or UAVs (Unmanned Aircraft Vehicles) have quickly become an important feature of 21 st century aviation.

This month's presentation for Penarth Aviation Society members gives an insight into the history, development and use of UAVs today and a tentative glimpse into the future of this fascinating topic

[H3]Saturday morning: Community morning at the Kymin

A community activity morning is being planned at the Kymin Park close to the Penarth seafront on Saturday December the 4th by the community groups Gwyrddio Penarth Greening (GPG), Penarth Growing Community and the Friends of the Kymin.

You're invited to come along, take part in the preparations for developing some grassland as wildflower meadow area in the top of the park, talk about community hopes for the way the park will develop for public use over the coming years and to explore the wildlife and plants of the woodland areas. Children accompanied by adults are especially welcome.

[H3]Saturday evening: Cinderella

It's panto season again - oh yes it is - and Penarth Operatic & Dramatic Society are delighted to be back on stage after an absence of two years. This year they're staging a brand new production of Cinderella - the Fairy Godmother of all pantomimes - which has been especially written for them.

It's one of the most enchanting stories of all times. Come along and join in the fun as Cinderella transforms from rags to riches. With the help of her best friend and a very magical Fairy Godmother she outwits her ugly step sisters and the evil Countess Von Strudel to win the heart of the handsome Prince Charming.

[H3]Sunday: The Polar Express Afternoon Tea

Enjoy an afternoon of festive fun at Penarth Pier Pavilion with the classic movie, The Polar Express, followed by a delicious afternoon tea!

Enjoy a delicious mug of hot chocolate on arrival, before departure of The Polar Express.

Once the film has finished, it's then just a short stroll to the beautiful Gallery for a fabulously tasty and festive Afternoon Tea! How to book tickets and more information here.
