1.Rugby legend to sign books at local Penarth bookshop

Bridgend, Wales and Lions rugby star Steve Fenwick will be visiting Griffin Books in Windsor Road, Penarth, this Saturday to sign copies of his autobiography, 'Dragons and Lions: My Life in Rugby'.

An icon of Welsh rugby and one of the stars of the great Welsh team of the 1970s, Steve Fenwick won four Triple Crowns, two Grand Slams, played in all four Tests of the 1977 Lions tour to New Zealand, and won two Welsh Cups with Bridgend RFC.

Witty and engaging with a very dry sense of humour, in 'Dragons and Lions', his long-awaited autobiography priced at £13.99, Steve Fenwick tells the story of the schoolboy from Nantgarw who became one of the most celebrated players in world rugby.

No ticket required, just come along to Griffin Books on Saturday 13th November any time between 1 and 2 pm.
