UPDATE (4.06.2020) -

Thanks to the power of social media the two skateboards which were taken from a property outside Penarth Marina were returned to their owners yesterday evening (3.06.2020).

Jason Eyers got in touch to say that the skateboards were back in his possession and wanted to thank everyone for sharing his post and contributing to their safe return.

In light of the skateboards being handed back, we have removed the video footage of the individuals involved from our page.

Yesterday evening, CCTV was captured of two individuals taking two skateboards from outside a property in Penarth Marina. Resident Jason James-Eyers got in touch to circulate the images and video footage.

He said: "Yesterday evening, in Penarth Marina, my son and his girlfriend's skateboards were stolen from outside a house.

''Both skateboards are unique as they were custom made and therefore should be fairly easy to spot/recognise."

You can view the footage of the theft above as well as pictures of the skateboards of the top and bottom of the boards in our photo gallery.

They were stolen from Plas Glen Rosa, sometime between 19:30 pm and 21:30 pm last night.

Jason explained that he would rather not get the police involved and encouraged members of the public to come forward with information to sort it out this way.
