Vale of Glamorgan Brass Band have been out and about in The Vale over the last week playing Christmas music at the Cowbridge Lights switch on last Sunday, and at Ewenny Garden Centre on Saturday. 

The Band have a very busy schedule next weekend 8th, 9th and 10th December when they will be at 'The Dickensian Fair' in Dinas Powys on Friday evening.

On Saturday morning they will be in Penarth Town Centre supporting the local Salvation Army Corps where all the money collected will be given to the Salvation Army's Christmas Appeal. 

In the afternoon The Band will be the guests of Barry Male Voice Choir at St Helen's Church, Barry for their Christmas Concert at 2.30pm. 

The weekend engagements conclude on Sunday afternoonwhen The Band will perform seasonal music at The Fontygary Leisure Park from 3.30pm. 

The band's Phil Maunder said: "Wherever you see The Band next week, please feel free to come and say hello and we may be able to play your favourite Christmas Song."
