Teenager arrested after bread knife incident near Old Penarthians

South Wales Police have confirmed that a 14-year-old boy was arrested following an incident on the Old Penarthians RFC field on 2 April.

According to the police, no one was injured but a bread knife was found at the scene.

"A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of affray following an altercation near Old Penarthians RFC at around 8.20pm on April 2," said a South Wales Police spokesperson.

"He has been bailed pending further enquiries.

"A bread knife was recovered and officers are continuing to investigate the incident. No-one was injured."
