South Wales Police Confirm Shots Fired on Redlands Road Penarth

South Wales Police confirm shots have been fired on Redlands Road in Penarth with two arrests being made.

A spokesperson said: ''Shortly before 2.00 pm today police in Penarth were called following reports of a firearm being discharged in the Redlands Road area.

"Two males have been taken into custody. A number of scenes have been preserved.

"Armed police officers have been deployed as a precaution. Investigations continue.

"Anyone with any information or video footage of this incident is asked to contact South Wales Police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 and quote incident 675 of 13th August."
