James Sommerin Restaraunt, on Penarth's Esplanade, has been busy feeding NHS workers throughout the pandemic but they have now announced the return of their Michelin star takeaway service.

The new menu is available to collect Friday - Saturday with an extra special father's day offer available on Sunday.

James Sommerin said: "We are excited to be back after a short break and are bringing you a truly family affair 'Sommerins At Home'. Our takeaway this weekend is offering our unique tasting menus and a luxury hamper for Father's Day.

"Due to the current COVID situation and being unable to trade as a restaurant, we are restarting our take away, now named "Sommerins At Home".

"We hope you will continue to support us as a family during these difficult times. Our new takeaway is now live & offering:

• A 5-course tasting menu (Fri/Sat) for £32 per person.

• A Luxury home-made Fathers day hamper for £35 featuring James' renowned truffle and thyme scotch egg & Georgia's smoked salmon and potted shrimp featured on this year's Great British Menu."

Georgia Sommerin was the youngest chef to ever take part in the BBC's major cooking competition.

You can order directly from their website by clicking [L]http://sommerins.co.uk/[L+]here. Cut off time is 5 pm this Friday.

Their menu will change every week with special dishes crafted by the Sommerin team so you can enjoy fine-dining from the comfort of your home.
