Sentencing has been delayed on the young man who set light to a Penarth boutique last year, causing damaged estimated at more than £100,000.

The 16-yearold appeared before Cardiff magistrates today (Tuesday, 10 January) where he admitted starting the fire in August at the The Queen B Boutique.

The boy was identified by CCTV and arrested.

Having heard details of the incidents, magistrates asked for a further report on the youngster and he will now be brought back before them on 31 January, where the pre-sentence report will be presented.

He has been released on bail under conditions which include not entering Penarth town centre. He is also under a curfew from 7pm to 7am.
