Robin Hood's tale will be told in the open

Penarth's Red Herring Theatre will present the hilarious swashbuckling production of Sherwood - The Adventures of Robin Hood at the town's open air theatre in the grounds of Evenlode School on Sunday, 23 July.

Packed with thrills, romance, laughter and immortal characters like Little John, Friar Tuck, Maid Marian and of course the Sheriff Of Nottingham the story follows Robin from a young man who believes in nothing but a good time, then he comes face to face with the realities of life around him.

Soon he finds himself fighting evil injustice, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor.

Bring a rug/low backed chair and a picnic. Gates open at 5.30pm.

The Running time (approx) 2 hrs (including interval).

Only severe thunderstorms will stop the performance and every effort will be made to continue the show, tickets are non-refundable.

No dogs other than assistance dogs are permitted.

Light refreshments will be available. All profits from this performance will go to Evenlode School PTA.
