A life-size cardboard cut out of Queen Elizabeth II was stolen from outside the Allen Sadler hair salon on Hickman Road yesterday afternoon (May 19).

The incident happened at approximately 16:00 and a Facebook post from the salon says the person who stole it ran away in the direction of Cogan.

The post continued: "Here at Allen Sadlers we put in a lot of effort when it comes to celebrations, to cheer up our clients and get everyone in a positive mood we are really disappointed and hope we can find her soon if anyone has any CCTV or dashcam footage around Windsor Road/Cogan we would be eternally grateful."
