Sharing some positive news in pictures from Penarth's residential care home, Ty Dewi Sant, as one of their residents celebrated their birthday on Monday.

Sheila Llewellyn, a who resides in Ty Dewi Sant care home celebrated her 90th birthday yesterday (Monday, March 30).

Her daughter Ceri Gambold is peeking through the window as she blows out the candle on her cake respecting the need to socially distance but still managing to celebrate the momentous occasion.

Our best wishes go out to Sheila for her big day and we hope that Penarth residents enjoy the picture.

Vale of Glamorgan Council care homes are currently closed to the public to ensure the safety of patients and visitors.
