PODS overwhelmed with positive reaction to park production

MEMBERS of Penarth Operatic & Dramatic Society have been celebrating the success of their outdoor production of Under Milk Wood, which drew an audienmce of more than 600 people over two performances at the Kymin.

A statements from PODS says: "Under Milk Wood marks the first outdoor production in PODS' 100-year history. We are beyond grateful to the wonderful cast, crew and community who made it such a triumph.

"Over 600 people came across the two performances, making this the largest total audience of a PODS play on record!

"Congratulations to the co-directors Ruth Glynn and Alex Wilson (especially on Ruth's directorial debut), who supported this immensely talented cast in bringing such iconic characters to life.

"From all the wonderful feedback we have received, we are so proud that this production was able to hit the spot for Under Milk Wood super-fans and newbies alike. Thank you so much for your kind words.
