Pickford's Galley and Restaraunt in Penarth has been working really hard to prepare and deliver meals to NHS workers, care homes and key workers in the local area during the coronavirus lockdown but they would like to do more.

They recently updated their customers and local residents on their progress after cooking up 85 meals for four local care homes on Wednesday.

Pickford's said: ''This takes us to approx 665 meals that we have cooked and distributed.

''It is all thanks to those that have donated, the money that has been donated has now all been spent on these meals.

''We would welcome a little more to enable us to send some goodies to all the care homes next week.

''Please see our Go Fund Me page. Take care and stay safe.''
