Deco in Penarth, who not long opened before being forced to shut due to the coronavirus, started up a takeaway service today with lots of handmade goodies to take home.

They will be open from 10 am until 3 pm every day and will have a selection of filled baguettes, homemade pastries, pies and quiche.

Social distancing rules will apply and there is a system in place to avoid the spread of the virus.

On offer, they will have a selection homemade chicken pies, cottage pies, pasties, sausages and bacon sandwiches, salads. They said: ''We also have a vegan selection as well.''

Deco replaced the old Jaflon restaurant and is located on Albert Road. They had only opened their doors for the first time at the end of 2019.
