The East Vale Community Transport charity based in Penarth is looking for volunteer drivers to start immediately.

Volunteers will need to spare a few hours to drive an adapted minibus, must be aged between 21 and 70, and hold a clean driver's licence and two years of driving experience.

Drivers will take groups and individuals to places such as appointments, garden centre visits, vaccinations, and shopping trips.

The charity can be flexible with the number of hours you are able to volunteer, as well as days and times.

Training and out of pocket expenses will also be offered.

If you are interested in becoming an East Vale Community Transport volunteer, call 02920 705138 between Tuesday to Thursday or send an email to [email protected]

East Vale Community Transport is a small Penarth-based charity that provides accessible minibus transport for the community of the eastern Vale.

It has been operating since 1986 with the help of volunteer drivers that have taken groups and individuals shopping, meetings, on expeditions and on visits when they might otherwise be unable to get out.
