Penarth town centre roads to shut for installation of Christmas lights

Penarth town centre is set to close to traffic overnight this week, to allow for Christmas lights to be installed.

From today [Monday 25 October] until Saturday 30 October, parts fo Windsor Road and Glebe Street will be closed from 8pm-6am.

The closure stretches on Windsor Road from the Arcot Street junction to the Albert Road junction, by the clock roundabout.

Meanwhile, Glebe Street will close from the Windsor Road junction to the Plassey Street junction.

The work is being carried out for Penarth Town Council by two contractors Production 78 and Amberon .

Also this week, Victoria Road will be shut between the Archer Road and Lavernock Road junctions.

The closure, which is to allow resurfacing works, will be in place from 9am-4pm until Friday 29 October.
