Penarth's Scouts are looking for some volunteers to step up to the plate for 2020.

If you want to do some volunteering and spend time with children doing activities and getting more involved with the community then the Penarth Scouts might be the right place to look.

1st Penarth Secretary:

The current secretary has announced her intention to step down at the Annual General Meeting at Easter and we would like to find a replacement soon to make the transition as soon as possible.

The Secretary role is to organise and minute the three group executive committee meetings a year and AGM as well as undertaking annual surveys of group members.

Assistant Group Scout Leader:

This role is to support in managing the great team of volunteer leaders at 1st Penarth and organising group activities as well as liaising with the District level of Scouting.

This is not a weekly role but will be key in helping the Group develop and grow in the future.

Beaver Leader Volunteers:

Penarth Scouts are looking for one more Beaver leader to help improve the resilience of the section as it grows. They need someone who can get stuck in helping to organise and run our weekly sessions.

This does not have to involve you attending every week and can be flexible around your availability. You will be fully supported by all the existing Beaver leaders.

If you are interested in any of these roles you can email: [email protected] or via Facebook.
